RECENT PREMIERES:
1) "Sing This Night": a new 14-minute choral/orchestral work composed for the 2009 production of Christmas at the Cathedral. Go to the following LINK to see the video that was streamed live on December 13, 2009 ("Sing This Night" begins at the 2hr 7min 30sec mark.)
2) "Under Eternal Sky": a composition for choir and band commissioned by the State of Idaho Capitol Re-Dedication Committee. The text for this piece was written by Idaho poet, Neysa C. M. Jensen. The piece was premiered on January 9th on the steps of the Idaho State Capitol. A recording was created for the State archives but is not yet available to the public.
In 2008, one of Aitken's compositions, Flanders Fields (available through Alfred Publications), has continued to be sung by choirs world-wide and has included performances at both Carnegie Hall and by such notable choirs as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
Our publishing format is deliberately very different than most: we don't print music at all! Instead, once you place your order by email, a personalized PDF will be sent to you or your organization by email within hours. And the best thing is this: you only pay for the number of copies you need (10 copy minimum, please).
